Tenes is a 7 Mft3 per day capacity water desalination plant located 208 Km west of Algiers, in Algeria. Atlantica owns 51% of the asset.
The technology used in the Tenes plant consists of desalination using membranes by reverse osmosis.

Tenes provides desalinated water to approximately 1 million people annually. We support the local community by donating school supply kits and bags to schoolchildren, as well as food baskets to families in need.
