Taking care of forests and wildlife.

Local schools participate in birdwatching activities to further their care.

We are dedicated to protecting local ecosystems and promoting environmental education. Our initiatives include:

  • Community Engagement:
Local schools take part in birdwatching activities, fostering environmental awareness and stewardship among students.
  • Reforestation Efforts:
We have reforested approximately 48 hectares with 8,800 holm oaks, 4,500 Quercus coccifera, and a variety of smaller native plants. Our commitment extends to maintaining a total of 339 hectares of reforested land, with ongoing activities such as irrigation, tree pit cleaning, straightening, and replacement of damaged trees.
  • Biodiversity Protection:
In partnership with local administrations in Spain, we support the conservation of key bird species, including vultures (Aegypius monachus), eagles (Aquila adalberti), and steppe birds living near our facilities. Our contributions include funding for food supplies and participation in bird censuses and monitoring programs to help locate nesting areas on private agricultural land.
