Management team

Mr. Seage was named Chief Executive Officer of Atlantica when the Company was created in December 2013.

Between 2006 and 2013 he was the CEO of Abengoa Solar and in 2015 of Abengoa. Before that, he was a partner with McKinsey & Company and started his career at Procter and Gamble.

Mr. Seage is an Independent director of UGI (NYSE: UGI) and holds a degree in Business Management from ICADE University in Madrid.

Mr. Redell has over 30 years of experience and was most recently Managing Director of Atlantica’s U.S. businesses.

He previously served as Managing Member of BlüNebü, Managing Director of Abengoa Solar U.S., and General Manager of Mojave Solar LLC. A licensed Professional Engineer (Mechanical) in California, he is a graduate of the Naval Nuclear Power Program and holds an MSME from University of California, San Diego and a BSME from the University of Illinois, Chicago, with additional executive education at Georgetown University.

Mr. Esteban has led our operations in Europe and RoW since 2014.

He had previously served at Abengoa’s Corporate Development department for two years. Before that, David worked for the management consulting firm Arthur D. Little for seven years in the industries of Telecoms and Energy and then moved to a private equity firm specialized in renewable energy investments in Europe for three years.

Mr. Esteban holds a Business Management Degree from ICADE University in Madrid.

Mr. Merino currently serves as EVP of our South American business. Previously, he worked for Abengoa as the general manager of Brazil and the head of commercial development in South America.

Mr. Merino holds an MBA from San Telmo University and a degree in Business from the University of Seville.

Ms. Watsford has almost 20 years of experience and serves as Chief Value Creation Officer and Atlantica’s U.K. Country Manager.

Prior to joining Atlantica, she held positions as Managing Director, Portfolio Performance Group at Macquarie Asset Management EMEA, Chief Executive Officer of Enfinium and Managing Director of Wheelabrator Technologies U.K. after spending 10 years in a number of management consulting and institutional banking roles.

Julia holds a degree in Economics & Business Law from the University of Western Australia and a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Ms. Perez was named Chief Financial Officer in 2025. She previously served as Director of Investor Relations for Atlantica since July 2014.

Previously she held positions as manager of Consolidation and SEC Reporting both at Abengoa and Telvent, a Nasdaq listed company, for more than 5 years.

Prior to that, she worked for 10 years as internal auditor at Prisa and external auditor at Deloitte.

Leire holds a degree in Business Administration from Deusto Business School and is licensed as certified public accountant.

Mr. Albarracin has more than 20 years of experience in the development and financing of infrastructure projects in North and South America, Europe, and Africa.

He previously served as Head of Finance for Atlantica since 2016.

He holds a Business Administration Degree and a Master in Finance and Financial Markets.

Ms. Hernandez has served as our General Counsel since June 2014. Prior to that, she served as head of our legal department since the date of our formation.

Before joining Atlantica, Ms. Hernandez served as Deputy Secretary General at Abengoa Solar since 2012.

Before that, she worked for several law firms.

Ms. Hernandez holds a law degree from Complutense Madrid University and a Master’s degree in law from the Madrid Bar Association.
